life in Estonia The system in Italy I was used to big classes and less interaction with the professor while here classes are much smaller and there are many more chances to discuss and actively learn Also the workload is distributed more equally during the semester so there are often small tasks that contribute to the final result of the course and often courses offer practical knowledge for example for those who study cinema Studying in Estonia I believe that being an international student in Estonia will bring me a different level of education and the possibility of working in some of the most technologically advanced companies in Europe Moreover Estonia is a place where it is possible to deal with different cultures and work in extremely mixed environments Estonia in general Being in Estonia gave me the chance to meet a number of interesting people from all over the world and also to dive into a very different culture that helped me understand mine I would tell others This is a great opportunity to see something really different than our country Besides the possibility of studying and improving your English and other languages you will get the chance to have a great lifetime experience that you will hardly find anywhere else My degree programme is Interactive Media and Knowledge Environements is a great combination of new technologies internet studies and arts The degree of choice to be updated of what is happening in the new world of communication and media I miss the most Although there are plenty of Italian restaurants in town I believe that the thing I miss the most is Italian food I like to study here Study abroad is an enormous opportunity to grow personally and professionally I believe that the encounter with other cultures

some famous sportsmen such as Erki Nool Marko Märtin and Andrus Veerpalu Student life in Estonia I would say that the biggest difference has been within the unique approach of our study programme During the first semester we made several study trips to places such as Viljandi Cultural Academy Tallinn and Saaremaa We have visited several Spa Hotels in order to understand how the businesses are actually running The study trips have been rewarding and educating Also we have had the chance to have in our campus several international lecturers who are true specialists on their own field Pärnu is rather small town and as Estonians say Pärnu is sleeping during the winter so as an international student you have to be active yourself to organize things to do on your free time Studying in Estonia Estonia is the seventh country where I live abroad For me as a Finn it has been really easy to adapt to the Estonian culture since it is pretty similar to Finland and I have not experienced any culture shock I am sure the Master s Programme degree gained abroad will benefit me in the future Best things that have happened to me in Estonia When I was looking for the internship placement abroad in Spa Hotels I noticed that the managers have been really welcoming and interested about our programme since it is really focusing on this specific field The future will only tell but so far looking good I would tell others There are great opportunities in Estonia whether you are looking for Bachelor or Master level studies The living costs are student friendly and you will widen your horizons when living abroad My degree programme is Tourism Leisure Wellness Spa Management Sustainable Unique Study trips Creative International While being away from

be absolutely wrong the Estonian men are gentlemen and polite and Estonian ladies are sweeter Differences in student life in Estonia and in my home country There are many differences Most of our Latin American cities are overcrowded unsafe violent and polluted places The students have to work in order to support themselves and to pay for their studies In addition the students or workers or citizen in general leave every day to their universities or jobs with the uncertainty of not knowing if they will return home alive aftertheir day Here in Estonia I got a clean quiet and safe society The ideal environment for dedicating oneself exclusively to studies Studying in Estonia I have had the opportunity to meet well known Estonian like Veljo Tormis Arvo Pärt Eri Klass Tõnu Kaljuste whom I previously knew only through books and CDs Now I can meet them in person Some of the things I learned here The best thing is that I was granted the scholarship by the Estonian Archimedes Foundation It allows me to dedicatemyself fully to my studies I would tell others in my home country Estonia is a Hidden Treasure While most of people choose redundant and

was going to a very friendly place Student life in Estonia In Estonia the professors and people are friendly and always ready to help There are also many courses and directions of research talk less funding opportunities Life is cheap with fewer students in class and more advance equipment and libraries There is free internet and opportunity to take exams twice Studying in Estonia I have had the opportunity of meeting so many people from different parts of the world expanding my contacts It has also been fantastic to get involve in research in my field I could not pay for such a high quality education in another part of the world Best things that have happened to me in Estonia I have had the opportunity of writing and publishing an academic paper a completely new thing for me Studies in Estonia have completely transformed my worldview as I have encountered first hand Estonia and Eastern European culture and way of life I would tell others I would say it is an excellent opportunity that should not be missed This is international education with excellent professors research opportunities library facilities and a friendly culture where you can adapt easily This
