    hours but it depends on the number of participants The awards ceremony will take place immediately after the competition ends Each competitor will be given mandatory individual time to arrive at the technical inspection it is necessary for a smooth final registration and timely start of competition runs In case of any lag organizer does not guarantee the possibility to take part in the competition Top three in each competition class will be awarded with a diploma and trophy Additional awards may be added by the sponsors of the event Fastest diesel car and fastest woman driver will also be awarded Registration and participation fee During the period of 06 07 31 07 2015 the participation fee is 40 euros During the period of 01 08 13 08 2015 the participation fee is 50 euros The participation fee includes free entrance to the driver car and one team member and measuring top speed at the end of a 1 mile course as well at 1 kilometer mark but the latter will not be taken into account in the ranking A competitor is registered only after receiving payment The number of participants is limited to 90 After receiving 90th payment registration

    to abort the competition and notify the organizer In case it is out of the ability or wish of the organizer to eliminate the sources of risk as pointed out by the competitor the competitor will not be allowed to compete even if he she is willing to accept the risks after discussion with the Chief Referee 3 6 Competitor must hold the steering wheel with both hands at all times during the racing attempts except for the time for gear changes and operation of the braking chute s or fire distinguishing system 3 7 Having a racing license is strongly recommendable The license is mandatory for competitors the expected racing result of whose car exceeds 290 taking into account exceptions under Section 18 1 The racing license grants an insurance in case of permanent injury or death 4 Requirements to the equipment of the competitors 4 1 All competitors must wear a helmet during the racing attempt It is recommendable to use a helmet approved according to FIA standards Competitors whose estimated speed is at least 250 km h must wear a homologated autosport helmet Homologation may be expired The helmet must fit the driver and its belt must be fastened during racing attempts No signs of damage or cracks are allowed 4 2 Competitor must wear clothing that covers his her whole body legs and arms closed footware and socks Nylon or any other easily melting material is forbidden It is recommendable to use racing equipment that is in compliance with FIA 8856 2000 or FIA 1986 homologation 4 3 Competitor must wear covered footwear and socks It is forbidden to compete in light sandals or open shoes It is recommendable to use racing equipment that is in compliance with FIA 8856 2000 homologation 4 4 Competitors whose estimated speed is at least 250 km h must wear leather or fire proof gloves It is recommended to wear FIA 2000 homologated may be expired gloves 5 General requirements to the cars 5 1 Competing cars registered for street use must have a valid technical inspection either by state authorities or Estonian Autosport Association For non street use cars only the EAA technical inspection is sufficient 5 2 Only the cars that pass the technical inspection performed by the organized are allowed to compete As the inspection is performed in outside conditions without any special equipment its scope and efficiency is limited Hence it is the competitors duty to arrange shortly before the competition the due inspection of the car in a service garage or official technical inspection which has appropriate equipment Regardless of the passing of technical inspection the competitor is fully liable for the car s compliance with the technical and safety requirements Competitor is required to address the organizer in case of any questions related to technical or safety requirements The contact details of the organizers are provided on the webpage of each competition 5 3 The Chief Referee has the right to reject a car which complies with the abovementioned rules but is considered unsafe This applies eg to a situation where the car s engine has been heavily modified but brakes suspension handling and safety structures are not matching For modified cars it is strongly recommendable to install additional safety structure rollbar or rollcage and certified 5 or 6 point seat belts 5 4 It is prohibited to remove factory body details except antennas mirrors and windshield wipers It is recommendable to remove self installed elements which influence the car s aerodynamics All body details must be strongly attached in order to ensure their lasting at high speeds 5 5 No loose items are allowed in the car and the battery must be firmly fixed to the car s body If the battery is not located at its original spot an additional ground switch is required near the battery If the battery is located inside the car it must be covered 5 6 No leaks of any fluids are allowed During the competition the car s air conditioning device must be switched off to avoid leaks of condensed fluid 5 7 The driver s seat of the car must have at least 3 point seat belt Cars that are equipped with a rollcage must have at least 4 point seat belt for the driver s seat Seat belt must be fastened during the racing attempt 5 8 The car must have a towing eye or hook at the front or on the roof In case of removable towing eye or hook it must be installed before technical inspection and kept installed and covering panels removed during the whole competition The organizer may mark the towing eye or hook with a red arrow sticker 6 Body and interior 6 1 The car must not have any dangerous signs of collision or amortization eg penetrating rust deformed body panels or running gear details 6 2 The car must have at least working head lights tail lights and turn signals 6 3 The car must have front doors that can be opened both from inside and outside during the whole competition Front doors taping is prohibited Rear doors taping is prohibited if the battery is located inside the car behind front seats 6 4 The driver s and passenger s doors must have upholstery Other upholstery may be removed 6 5 In addition to standard plastic or composite material parts it is allowed to replace with plastic or composite material parts the hood trunk lid front fenders and bumpers Self made plastic or composite material doors are allowed if the car has a rigidity or safety structures that are in compliance with FIA standards Wherever the driver s helmet may have a contact with the rollcage the latter must be upholstered with soft material the must in normal circumstances be at least 3 76 mm 6 7 The car s front and rear subframes must be original It is allowed to modify the shock absorbers upper fittings Replacements and changes in the chassis structure are allowed only if the material used is the same as the original and with the same thickness The body s structure from the firewall to the front axle must be original and the front axle must be fixed in the original fixing places The inner structures of front fenders can be modified only if the car has a rollcage 6 8 The windshield must be standard and without damages Other windows may be replaced with shatterproof polycarbonate of at least 3mm thickness 6 9 The passengers compartment must be separated from the engine and power transmission No holes are allowed in the firewall so those must be sealed with steel or aluminum tin There must not be any fuel or engine cooling liner or hoses in the passengers compartment other than those of the stock heating system 6 10 The dashboard and center console until the end of front seats can be removed or replaced with a self made on only in case the car has a rollcage and at least 3 wide 4 point seat belts It is allowed to modify the dashboard in order to fit a custom instrument panel or switches Thera cannot be any sharp edges or corners near the driver in order to avoid potential injuries 6 11 The front seats must be flawless and fixed firmly to the body or frame of the car The backrests must be fixable in the upright position if such a possibility has been created by the seats manufacturer The driver s seat must have a headrest 6 12 It is allowed to remove the passenger s and rear seats 6 13 Driver s doormat must be removed on the racing attempt 7 Running gear 7 1 The car must have hydraulic brakes on all wheels The brake lines cannot be located in the driveshaft tunnel or be the lowest part of the car 7 2 All driving axles must have differentials It is prohibited to use welded 100 differential locks Cars equipped with 100 locks aka spool must have steel racing drive axles and C clip eliminators 7 3 The car s wheels and tires must be covered and cannot extend outside the car s body It is allowed to use fender wideners that do not sharp corners and are firmly fixed Any contact between the car s tires and any body part is prohibited 7 4 It is allowed to use non standard wheels However any modification of wheels is prohibited 7 5 Tires with cut tread are prohibited 7 6 Tires older than 10 years according to the marks on the tires are prohibited 7 7 The weight index of the tires must be in compliance with the car s racing weight if that is verifiable or if not then the registry weight according to the registration certificate 7 8 The speed index of the tires must correspond to the expected trap speed of the car It is prohibited to use M S tires with speed index lower than H 7 9 Tires with speed index ZR may be used on cars that will expectedly not exceed 271 km h trap speed In case of tires with speed index Y 300km h it is allowed to exceed the index by up to 10 7 10 It is allowed to use only E or DOT marked tires qualified for street use The tires must not have any visible damages 7 11 The tire tread must be at least 3mm 7 12 Remanufactured or retreaded tires are prohibited 8 Engine and accessories 8 1 It is allowed to use internal combustion and electric engines and combinations thereof Engine modification is allowed 8 2 The internal combustion engine must start with a starter 8 3 The number of engine s fixing points cannot be lower than what has been designed by the engine s manufacturer It is allowed to modify and add fixing points 8 4 In case of Roots supercharger the fixings must comply with SFI 14 2 requirements 8 5 The fuel and oil lines and hoses must be protected near the supercharger belt The protection must be on the hoses and or on the belt It is recommended to protect also the cooling lines if the belt is not covered 8 6 All liquid cooled vehicles must have at least 0 5l overflow tank that is fixed firmly to the body or engine It is recommendable to use water as coolant liquid 8 7 In case of dry sump cooling an overflow tank of at least 1l must be used 8 8 Non filtrated ventilation of the oil sump into atmosphere is prohibited 8 9 Exhaust manifolds must be used The exhaust system must be leak free without damages and safely fixed so that any contact between the exhaust system and the ground would be avoided at any time during the racing attempts The exhaust system must be pointed out backwards from under the car away from the driver and fuel tank 9 Fuel system and fuels 9 1 It is allowed to use in internal combustion engines all fuels and unleaded gasolines available from retail network 9 2 The fuel tank must be separated from the passengers compartment with a fireproof wall so that no fuel could get into the passengers compartment 9 3 The whole fuel system fuel tank lines pump etc must be located outside the passengers compartment and inside the car s dimensions 9 4 A fuel tank made of composite materials must be grounded 9 5 Fuel tank must be ventilated to the atmosphere 9 6 The competitors must notify the technical inspection if the car is using alcohol as fuel or LPG CNG or chemical supercharging Such cars will be marked for possible fire extinguishing purposes 10 Nitrous devices 10 1 The cars that use chemical supercharging must be notified of to the Chief Technical Inspector Such cars will be marked for possible fire extinguishing purposes 10 2 It is allowed to use only publicly marketed certified and officially manufactured nitrous devices 10 3 The bottle of N2O must be fixed firmly to the body of the car It is allowed to use the original fixings provided by the manufacturer However it is recommendable to use at least two 25mm steel band fixings for bottles up to 15 kg and three 25mm steel band fixings for bottles in excess of 15 kg 10 4 The bottle of nitrous gas must have clear and understandable marking 10 5 The bottle of nitrous gas must be equipped with excess pressure valve that is ventilated outside the passengers compartment Any modification of the excess pressure valve is prohibited 10 6 The faucet of the bottle of nitrous gas must be shut during the warming of tires burnout and it may be opened immediately before the racing attempt at the starting line 10 7 Only special purpose blanket type warmers equipped with a thermostat are allowed to be used for warming the bottle of nitrous gas 10 8 The nitrous system must not be switched on while the ignition is turned off 10 9 The nitrous system must have a separate melting fuse There must be a switch with a clear label N2O ON OFF in the reach of an arm of the driver for the nitrous system 10 10 The activation of the nitrous system must be configured in a way that the nitrous system can be activated only on full throttle Upon the release of throttle the nitrous system must switch off If the activation is electronically controlled by the ECM of the engine or a separate controller it must be dubbed with a switch in the throttle system 11 Transmission 11 1 The transmission must have a working reverse gear 11 2 Automatic transmission must be equipped with a blockage of accidental shifting to reverse gear 11 3 A car with automatic transmission must not start if any gear is shifted in Homologated FIA Technical List No 16 fire distinguishing system is mandatory The gauge on the fire distinguisher must show green and the fire distinguisher must have a valid label of inspection If an electrically engageable system is used it must have a separate battery available to be checked 14 5 The car must have a metal external main electricity switch positioned either on the rear panel of the car or the panel beneath the windscreen which must cut the battery alternator lights ignition and other circuits and stop the engine The switch must be marked with a blue triangle with a side     14 2010 300 km h was exceeded by Aleksandr Ljahh Mitsubishi 3000GT and Artur Hatšaturjan Mercedes Benz SL55AMG Results In 2009 One Mile Challenge took place in Kiltsi airfield on May 30 2009 Ever since then all one mile top speed competitions in Estonia have been organized by the Estonian Audi Club team The 300 km h club welcomed Artur Hatšaturjan Mercedes Benz SL55AMG AC Mile took place on August 15 2009 The 300 km h club welcomed Aki Virtanen Saab 9 5 and Aleksandr Ljahh Mitsubishi 3000GT The magic limit was passed altogether by 4 competitors ie once again also by the winner Roul Liidemann Dodge Viper GTS and also Artur Hatšaturjan Mercedes Benz SL55AMG Results In 2008 One Mile Challenge took place in Kiltsi airfield on June 8 2008 Speed was again measured by AC Timing System The event was organized by tqhq ee for the last time and Estonian Audi Club teams The 300km h club welcomed Roul Liidemann Dodge Viper GTS AC Mile took place on August 16 2008 The competition was interrupted by heavy rain so the second round was cancelled The event was organized by Estonian Audi Club team Results In 2007 the event took place on Kiltsi airfield near Haapsalu where it happens to date Since the speeds had risen significantly the layout was turned the ohter way so that the spectators were standing in the start line The event was on May 19 2007 and speed was measured by AC Timing System The event was organized by tqhq ee and Estonian Audi Club team On August 11 2007 another one mile top speed competition AC Mile took place which enabled speed enthusiasts to challenge their cars and courage twice a year Already on the very first event the magic 300 km h
